| Canalcubano: One of the best known restaurants in town but unfortunately its quality belongs to the good old times. In theory its kitchen is Italian but in practise we receive a mixture of different, indefinable elements. Lets cross our fingers that one day it will leave aside its identity problems and turn back to vigour and quality. |

Canalcubano: This "Don Pepe" is not only one of the best restaurants in the city Ciego de Ávila but also the funniest. Dinners, with a tasteful creole cuisine, go on through the night into the early morning. Its chef Victor Ramirez suggests his "Chicharrones con boniato frito" and "Pierna de puerco asado al jugo" (pork meat). For to drink: a refreshing mojitos and beer. Recommended. |

Jardines del Rey
All the restaurants are located in the hotels and are all inclusive to the guest staying there.
EXCEPTION- at the Tryp Cayo Coco hotel, there is a standard plan (this includes only buffett) and Superior Plan ( this includes all the a la carte restaurants).
Food is best at El Senador, Melia Cayo Coco, and Melia Cayo Guillermo.
Most of the food in Cuba is prepared with local spices (which I enjoy) but may be to blunt for some tastes. If you like pepper, paprika, curi.... feel free to bring some with you, as chances are you will not find it here.
Crab legs, lobster, squid, calamari, ...seafood?!
