Casa Arturo y Esmeralda

My review: Arturo & Esmerelda made us feel very at home. Arturo speaks English very well, and Esmerelda was very helpful in finding us a paladar/restaurant to eat dinner at. Our room was up on the top floor and had a private balcony and bathroom. Our reason for going to Bayamo was to go hike in the Sierra Maestra mountains, but we ended up not going as my husband was sick. There wasn't a lot to do in Bayamo, but we enjoyed ourselves relaxing on the balcony and in our casa.

How was your room?: Our room was great. Very private and clean. It had a double bed with A/C, stocked mini fridge, and a tv. The attached private bathroom was very big & bright.
How was the food they offer?: They only offered breakfast, but made sure we had a paladar to eat dinner at, which was great. The breakfasts were very good and had lots of variety.
Other comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this casa, we only wish there had been more to do in Bayamo, or that we had been feeling well enough to go for our hike in the Sierra Maestra that we had originally planned.

Casa Arturo y Esmeralda

This is a great place to stay to be able to walk within the city limits. Arturo is learning to speak English and is an excellent cook. Have had pizza and better meals than in local restaurants. I highly recommend this casa to anyone that is visiting Bayamo.
