Casa Aleida Perfect location Habana Vieja! Nice cute casa particular in a side street of Calle Obispo, the middle of Habana Vieja. Aleida is a lovely, relaxed and funny woman who rents out two airconditioned rooms with private bathroom. Both rooms are connected to a nice patio and at the first floor is a terrace with the two sunbeds to enjoy the sun. Aleida is a perfect host! ... and believe me, the front of this casa maybe look a bit "yikes" but inside you will experience the real Habana feeling and a very welcoming and clean place to stay!

Casa Aleida

4 CUC per Person for a breadfast with only Bread, Butter, Coffee and Juice, while somebody was cooking lunch for Mrs. Aleidas Family.... too much in my opinion...
The terrasse was closed. No daylight in our room. No daylight in the Patio. To enter the private Bathroom we had to walk through Mrs. Aleidas Living Room which is the Patio.
We were really silent guests without any extraordinary whishes, but the day we went it seems that she was really happy. Mrs. Aleida was looking to heir watch, counting the minutes we needed to pack our things...
The room was clean, but we were glad to leave, we didn´t feel welcome in this casa.

Casa Aleida

Aleida runt samen met haar engels sprekende zoon de casa in een zijstraatje van de Obispo, dus hartje Habana Vieja. Ik kom er elk jaar weer en wordt er met open armen ontvangen. Aleida is als een moeder voor me. Je kunt gaan en staan waar je wilt en ook - betrouwbare - Cubanen mee naar je casa nemen. Ze doet verder alles om het je naar de zin te maken. Praat honderduit, waar ik vaak niks van kan volgen, maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. Voor een kleinigheidje wast en strijkt ze ook nog je kleren.
