Estudio Alicia Havana Miramar
My review: Like the others who have written reviews, I fell in love with the studio at first sight! And like several others, I am a regular guest since 2008.
It is a rare thing for casas particulares in Cuba to have the possibility of complete privacy with a completely separate studio which has a private terrace and a private entrance in the back. You also have a fully equipped kitchen enabling you to cook your own food as you wish.
However the option of privacy does not exclude the possibility of contact with Alicia and her adorable and cultivated family.. Alicia is open, friendly and very serviceable. She is willing to go to great lengths for her guests to feel welcome, comfortable and enjoy their stay. Contrary to many Cubans she speaks excellent English partly due to British roots. So those who do not speak Spanish can be calm, any help they would need in the language department, she will offer.
The house is extremely charming and cute and stands out like a light house in the neighborhood, beautifully painted in white and blue with a small flower hedge of Mar Pacifico in the front. When looking at the house and one can easily appreciate the continuous and very hard work Alicia puts into keeping her house at this high standard. Towards her guests she is the same way.
Staying in Calle 36 at Casa Alicia one may enjoy both the vicinity to the ocean and the relative calm of the residential area. I have lived in different parts of Havana, but this is clearly the part I prefer. A great mixture of calm and lively.
I give Estudio Alicia my very highest recommendations!!

Alicia Studio
My review: I fell in love with Alicia Studio on my first visit to Havana several years ago. It is a large and cozy studio with amenities such as private bath, full kitchen, dining area, and a lovely terrace with plants and patio furniture from where you can watch the beautiful tropical sunsets. Also, it has many windows and a view of the sea, which is only a block away. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and close to the center of the city. I particularly like the absolute privacy Alicia offers, while providing the famous Cuban hospitality.

Estudio Alicia
My review: I am a returning guest since 2005. This independant studio with is own entrance is very confortable and clean with a nice sunny terrace and a safe and quiet neighborhood. If you want to make your own meal there are food stores very near or you can find restaurants as well. The proximity of the touristic bus to go to Old Havana is very practical too. The owner Alicia will take care of all your needs. Go there and enjoy.

Estudio Alicia Havana Miramar
My review: What can one add to the other comments if not which this place, at the same time quiet and located well, is a true independent flat. Personally, I made of it my usual residence with Havana; I go there 2 or 3 times a year, a pleasant place in any season. From the window one can see the sea which is with 100 meters, which allows, for people who make diving, like me, to know if they can go to the diving center which is at 5 minutes with foot. That is almost always the case. Lastly, the scents and the beauty of Alicias exotic garden come to perfect the general good being of this place.

Casa Alicia
My review: casa alicia is simply the best. I did make my research.
The connection with Havana Vieja and Havana centro is easy for no cost by bus P1, only 200 meters away from the house.
In the neighborhood several big hotels with WIFI and shops, if you prefer to prepare your food in your appartment.
