The elegant softly lit outdoor garden seating at Restaurant Cocina de Liliam would be enough to recommend this family run paladar, but the food's excellent as well. Lilliam Domínguez has a deft touch.
Try the garbanzo, ham, and onion appetizer, and then opt for a piece of fresh fish, usually grouper or snapper, simply grilled. The menu varies, but if they've got it, order the traditional ropa vieja, made with lamb here instead of the traditional beef. This place is getting quite popular so reservations are essential.
