I stayed with Fermina and her family in 2003. I've been trying to get back ever since. The beautiful colonial house was lovely, but the family even more so. Fermina and her daughter Osmara (French speaking) made me feel like family. We've been in touch ever since and the time spent with them is still my warmest memory of Cuba. I was introduced to all of the extended family in town, fed gorgeous food on the garden patio, and laughed and laughed. Highly recommended.
