This beautiful casa particular is located in the heart of the City, next door to the historic 'Casa de la Ciudad'.
It is one of the most elegant houses in the city, having belonged to the governor before the revolution. Its height also means that you get great views and a constant breeze cooling the house. Casa Carlos y Belkis has one beautiful double spare bedroom (with a double bed and a single bed) with air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. It is extremely clean and well kept. There is a wonderful living room with rocking chairs, looking out over the city. Carlos and Belkis are more than happy to share their space with you. The casa also has a garage, so any hire cars can be safely stored.
Carlos and Belkis are wonderful hosts and will stop at nothing to make you feel welcome. They are honest and always willing to help. They will probably be the most honest and kind people you meet in all Cuba.
Carlos speaks very good English but equally is happy to speak (and teach you) Spanish.
Belkis is a great cook and will always offer you more than you could possibly eat! She cooks dinner and breakfast if you want it. They
always have the best fruits and vegetables in season. Her flan is also arguably the best on the island!
