Hostal Elida

Elida rents an apartment with an air-conditioned room, two beds and a bathroom, a little living room with fridge, balcony, pantry and terrace to rest and to enjoy the Cuban sun. Dinner is essentially creole, as a speciality they recommend the "Chicken Elida" a family's secret recipe. The breakfast is with excellent tropical fruits, natural juices and the tasty Cuban coffee. They offer a minibar-, laundry-, parking- and Internet services.
Elida is hapy to answer any question that you may have on the history- and Cuban's reality.

You can arrive to Santa Clara by whatever possible transportations ( taxi, bus, train, etc...) 'cause the city is in the center of Cuba. If you decide arrive in bus "Via Azul", we'll wait for you at the bus terminal with previous ad of your arrival. If you come for others transportation facilities you must know that our hostelry finds downtown among the Boulevar and the monument of "Tren Blindado"; very near of coffee shops, banks, stores and places of recreation that we can recommend it.

Hostal Elida

My review: Hostal Elida was spacious, very comfortable and clean. Located in a central area and close to some of the major downtown sights. Bedroom and sitting area above the family's living quarters, so it was quite private. Front balcony to view the daily life on the street and back patio for catching some sun.
Fridge in sitting area was well-stocked.

Amenities: Parking service, Airconditioning, Private bathroom, Balcony, Breakfast service, Queensize bed, Extra bed available, Bathroom with shower
How was your room?: Our room was clean and comfortable, which had an extra bed for our daughter. Air conditioning was a nice treat.
How was the food they offer?: We had breakfast, which was a variety of fresh local fruits, bread and eggs with fresh orange juice and cafe con leche.
Other comments: Our flight arrived at 1:25 am and Carlos met us at the airport with a taxi-driver, which was extremely convenient since our rental car was not delivered as promised.
Carlos went out of his way to help us straighten out the problem with our car rental the next day and even called us in Havana to make sure we made it to the next casa particulares safely.
Carlos and his wife are wonderful hosts - perfect ambassadors for their city and the Cuban people.
