Casa Arturo Luis
My review: The owners are really friendly and welcoming. Very helpful with local knowledge of directions and how to get around, there are maps and leaflets of the local area in your apartment for you. They even gave me a fan and 1 cuban peso to go to the local cinema so I didn't have to pay more as a tourist.
The food was excellent and plenty of it, I could never eat everything. A great selection of Cuban food, salad, fruit and drinks.
They also helped out with local phone calls at no extra charge.
You get your own apartment upstairs with it's own kitchen/dinning area, fridge and bathroom with a spacious separate bedroom.
No windows in the bedroom but for sleeping it's completely dark and quiet.
Only 5 blocks from Parque Vidal so quite near to everything and the taxi from the bus station was only 3$.
If I visit again I would definitely book here again.

How was your room?: Spacious, comfortable and clean with pretty glowing stars when you turned off the light!
How was the food they offer?: Excellent. Fruit and omelete for breakfast with fruit juice and coffee. Cuban rice with chicken or pork for dinner with salad, fruit and juice.
Other services they offer: Use of the telephone, helpful friendly advice and directions. There is also a map and guide leaflets in the apartment.
Other comments: The main entrance is through the main front door but you can go immediately up the stairs to your own apartment with it's own door lockable from inside.
